Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of FindDogWalker. By creating an account or booking a service you agree to them.

1. What FindDogWalker is

FindDogWalker is an online marketplace. Walkers are independent service providers, not our employees or agents. Walkers decide which services they offer, their prices and their availability. FindDogWalker is not a party to the service agreement between an Owner and a Walker, but we provide tools for booking, payment, messaging and reviews.

2. Accounts

You must be 18 or older and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your password secure.

3. Walker obligations

Provide truthful profile information and a valid photo ID for verification.
Deliver booked services with reasonable care and skill and follow the Owner's care instructions.
Comply with local laws, including licensing, leash laws and clean-up rules.
Only mark a booking as completed after the service has been provided.

4. Owner obligations

Provide accurate information about your dog, including behavior, health and vaccination status.
Make sure your dog is safe to be handled by a walker and properly equipped (collar/harness, ID tag, leash).
Provide safe access to your home where required.

5. Bookings and payments

When you book, you pay the full price shown, which is held by FindDogWalker. If the Walker declines or does not respond before the start time, the amount is refunded to your FindDogWalker wallet. After the service is completed, the Walker is credited with the price minus our service fee. Wallet balances can be used for future bookings.

6. Cancellations

Owners may cancel an unconfirmed request at any time, and a confirmed booking up to 24 hours before its start time, for a full refund to their wallet. See our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

7. Payments off-platform

To protect both sides, bookings that start on FindDogWalker must be paid through FindDogWalker.

8. Reviews and content

Reviews must be honest and based on a completed booking. We may remove content that is unlawful, abusive, misleading or that violates these Terms.

9. Safety and emergencies

Walkers must contact the Owner (and, where appropriate, a vet or emergency services) without delay if a dog is injured or unwell. Owners authorize Walkers to seek emergency veterinary care if the Owner cannot be reached.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, FindDogWalker is not liable for the acts or omissions of Owners or Walkers, and our total liability relating to a booking is limited to the fees we received for that booking. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Suspension

We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, put animals or people at risk, or misuse the platform.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here and, for material changes, notify you by email.
